Cookie policy
This policy explains, under article 22.2 of Spain's Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's guide on cookies, which cookies and which browser storage drivinglingo.com uses, for what purpose, for how long and how you decide about them. Controller: INDIAN ELEPHANT S.L., tax identification number B16969651, Calle Consuelo, número 11, bajo, 03590 Altea (Alicante), España, isht@drivinglingo.com. The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
What cookies and browser storage are
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser, which the browser sends back on each visit. Local storage (localStorage) and session storage (sessionStorage) are other ways of keeping data in your browser that the site reads from the page; the law applies the same rules to them. Technical cookies and keys are necessary to provide the service you ask for and need no consent. Third-party measurement and analytics items are only installed if you accept them.
The essentials
- Without accepting anything you can use DrivingLingo in full: study, take the daily test, create an account and buy the pass.
- We use no personalised-advertising or remarketing cookies. There are no advertising profiles.
- Only if you accept in the cookie bar: Google Ads measurement (
_gcl_cookies) and PostHog product analytics in the EU (no cookies: a random identifier in localStorage, sent through our server). - Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights count pages without cookies or identifiers; Sentry error reports use no cookies either. Both can be switched off in Settings.

How to accept, reject or withdraw consent
- The cookie bar. On your first visit a bar appears with Reject and Accept buttons of equal size and nothing preselected. Until you decide, no tag is loaded and no optional event is sent. You can close it to decide later and keep studying.
- Cookie preferences. The button below and the Cookie preferences link in the footer of the public pages reopen the bar so you can change your choice at any time. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- Settings → Privacy and analytics. Inside the app you can accept or reject product analytics and Google Ads measurement separately, and switch off aggregate counts and error reports.
- What happens when you reject. If the Google tag was already active, the page reloads to stop it and the
_gcl_cookies reachable from this site and the tab's attribution data are deleted. Rejecting analytics deletes the event queue and the identifier. Neither recalls data the third party has already received; you can ask that third party to erase it. - Your choice expires after 180 days, and then we ask again.
How to delete or block cookies in your browser
You can delete or block cookies and storage for drivinglingo.com in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Safari on iPhone and iPad, Edge. If you block local storage, progress and preferences will not be kept between visits; the rest of the site keeps working. To reset only your progress, use Profile → Reset progress → Reset my data.
Changes to this policy
Any change is published here with its version date; if we add a cookie that needs consent, we will ask you again. Version: 16 October 2026.
